Invitation Seminar
Sustainable Sourcing Soy & Palm Oil
11 April 2011, WTC - Rotterdam
Sourcing palm oil and soy in changing markets
The markets for palm oil and soy are changing fast. Retailers announced they want to source sustainably. What does that mean for companies in the supply chain of soy and palm oil (products)? What is already out there? And what can you do?
Keynote speakers:
Jan Kees Vis - RSPO
Agustin Mascotena - RTRS
Sandra Mulder - WWF
Caroline Sikking - Cargill
Gerrit van Duijn - Unilever
Anne van der Wal - Ahold |
During this free seminar keynote speakers will address the urgency for sourcing sustainably (Rabobank and WWF) and what’s been done to make that possible by the international Roundtables for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and for Responsible Soy (RTRS). How this works out for the different players within the supply chain becomes clear during presentations of key companies in the chain. The seminar is open to managers of the Oils and Fats Industry, the Food industry, the Feed industry, the Retail and (non-) Governmental Organizations.
